Our mission statement
Welcome to United Campus Ministry at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Our mission is dedicated to connecting the people of SDSM&T to the gospel of Jesus Christ through evangelizing, discipling and serving. We provide opportunities for students to express their faith in worship, fellowship, study, and service on campus and in the community.
United Campus Ministry began as a part of the South Dakota United Ministries in Higher Education. When that group disbanded, the UCM name was adopted. We are now sponsored by local Episcopal, Presbyterian USA, United Church of Christ and United Methodist congregations. This year the Church at the Well, a local non-denominational congregation, has added their support too. Despite our connections to the churches, UCM is open to anyone seeking to learn more about Jesus, expand and deepen their faith, and hone their skills for leadership for the future of God’s kingdom.
